The academic exchange at the University of Lodz (students, doctoral students and academic/administrative employees) is organized under agreements between the University of Lodz and the partner institutions worldwide. If you wish to spend a part of your studies at the UL, you need to confirm if your home university has a cooperation agreement with the University of Lodz and whether this agreement covers the exchange option that matches your study curriculum.

UL students have a possibility to take part in several mobility programmes. In Poland, the UL is a very popular mobility destination for incoming international students. Each year, the UL receives over 1200 part time students from all over the world.

Within bilateral agreements with international partners of the UL, exchange students of partner institutions of UL coming from anywhere in the world are enabled to study for one semester or one academic year as exchange students – free of tuition fees.

Students can join courses offered by all UL Faculties and are able to design their own unique programme by including courses from different units to make it most suitable. Courses are offered in English.
